Returnable items can be returned within 30 days of receiving the shipment. Returns must be completed by mail. Step-by-step instructions on how to return an item can be found on Making a Return.
When shipping a return by mail, please follow these guidelines:
- Items must be returned in their original condition, with original packaging with all tags attached. Item packaging may include hangers, plastic wrap, boxes, warranty cards, accessories, and dust bags.
- Each item must be returned to a specific location. Please ensure only the items listed on your return label are included in the return package. Do not include other items.
We offer two refund options for returnable merchandise:
- You can select to return for merchandise credit and enjoy free return shipping. (Note: Air-shipping rates apply for Alaska and Hawaii.)
- You can select to return for a refund to the original form of payment and pay a $9.99 return shipping fee.
Non-returnable items are listed as “Final Sale”. Final sale items are not eligible for return and will not appear in your eligible items for return. We let you know when an item is a final sale, by noting it in the product description and it may also be noted on your packing slip.
Wrong, Damaged, or Defective Items
Our Members are at the heart of what we do. We hope the package you receive is exactly what you wanted. If you believe a product was shipped in error from Rue La La, or if it arrives defective or damaged, we want to help. Please contact your Concierge via this form, chat, or directly at 1-888-992-LALA (5252) so we can make sure you’re taken care of.
Rue La La will begin processing your return as soon as it is delivered to our warehouse. You will receive an email letting you know that we’ve received your return.
Once accepted and processed, you will see your Rue La La merchandise credit appear on your Rue La La account within 1-2 business days. If you opted for a refund to the original form of payment (less $9.99 return shipping fee), you will see your refund within 10 business days, depending on your financial institution.
Where we issue a refund and subsequently determine in our discretion that your return did not comply with our return policy and/or was the result of fraud, we reserve the right to recharge your payment method on file for the merchandise.
If you received an item from Rue La La as a gift, and are dissatisfied, you may return the item for Merchandise Credit. Please contact your Concierge via this form, chat, or directly at 1-855-783-8585.
Please have your gift receipt or pack slip ready, which lists your order number or shipment ID.
Return shipping Promotions
For various promotional purposes, from time to time, Rue La La may provide return shipping promotions (“Return Shipping Promotions”). Return Shipping Promotions will be subject to additional terms disclosed at the time such promotions are provided, including, but not limited to, when the promotion expires and the applicability of the promotions. Rue La La reserves the right at any time in our discretion, and without prior notice, to discontinue Return Shipping Promotion(s) or to change its rules, terms, or conditions. Rue La La also reserves the right to revoke or cancel specific Return Shipping Promotions at any time, for any reason, without notice.
